Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy applies to appointments booked with Laserderm Cambridge. Please read it carefully before confirming your appointment.
Booking and deposits
All appointments must be secured with an online deposit at the time of booking.
Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been successfully received and you have received a booking confirmation.
The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.
By completing a booking, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and that you agree to this policy.
Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment
We understand that plans can change. We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Where more than 48 hours’ notice is provided, your deposit may be transferred once to another suitable appointment.
Cancellations or requests to reschedule made within 48 hours of the appointment may result in the loss of the deposit, reflecting the time reserved and the difficulty of offering the appointment to another patient at short notice.
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment through the customer panel.
You may also contact the clinic directly via enquiry form if you are unable to access the customer panel.
Late arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your appointment to avoid delaying other patients. The full treatment fee may still apply.
Where there is insufficient time to carry out the treatment safely or effectively, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. In these circumstances, the late cancellation terms may apply.
Missed appointments and no shows
If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted us in advance, your deposit will be forfeited.
We may also charge an additional amount, up to the remaining treatment fee, where this reasonably reflects the loss caused by the missed appointment and the reserved clinical time could not be rebooked.
Any outstanding amount may need to be paid before another appointment can be booked.
Repeated late cancellations, missed appointments or non attendance may result in Laserderm Cambridge declining future bookings or requiring full payment in advance.
Medical suitability
All treatments are subject to an appropriate consultation and medical assessment.
Booking an appointment does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be clinically suitable or provided. Your treating clinician will assess your medical history, treatment area, expectations and any relevant contraindications.
If treatment is not considered safe, appropriate or in your best interests, your clinician will explain the available options clearly. These may include an alternative treatment, postponing treatment, seeking further medical information or deciding not to proceed.
Where Laserderm Cambridge determines that treatment cannot safely or appropriately proceed following assessment, any unused treatment payment or deposit will be refunded or transferred, unless reasonable consultation or assessment fees were clearly disclosed before booking.
Refunds
Deposits are normally applied to the treatment booked or transferred in accordance with this policy.
Refunds will not normally be provided for:
- cancellations made within 48 hours of an appointment
- missed appointments
- changes of mind after treatment has been provided
- treatment time lost because of late arrival
Any cancellation charge or retained payment will be limited to a reasonable amount reflecting the clinic’s actual loss, administrative costs and reserved clinical time.
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
If Laserderm Cambridge cancels your appointment
On rare occasions, we may need to cancel or change an appointment because of clinician illness, equipment issues, safety concerns or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where we cancel your appointment, you may choose to transfer your deposit to another appointment or receive a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled appointment.
Laserderm Cambridge will not be responsible for indirect expenses such as travel, accommodation, childcare or loss of earnings.
Courses and treatment packages
Where a course or treatment package has been purchased, appointments included within that package remain subject to this cancellation policy.
A missed appointment or late cancellation may be treated as one session from the course where this reasonably reflects the reserved clinical time.
Any separate expiry dates, promotional conditions or package terms will be explained before purchase.
Exceptional circumstances
We recognise that genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances can arise.
Any exception to this policy will be considered fairly and individually at the clinic’s discretion. We may ask for reasonable supporting information where appropriate.
Agreement to this policy
